GAP Project – Southeastern Anatolia
The Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) is one of the world’s largest integrated regional development initiatives, focused on sustainable agriculture, water resource management, and rural advancement across nine provinces in Turkey. Dr. Ahmet Mermut contributed to soil resource mapping, erosion control strategies, and international collaboration efforts within the GAP framework.
